The rough sawn boards on the seat and back came from an old livestock barn on Stewart Creek east of

Pilot Rock, Oregon.

The barn was built in 1926 and measured 100' x 100'.

The legs on this bench are very historic!

These old growth fir boards (dating from the early 1900's) came from a tunnel snow shed on the former Southern Pacific Railroad going under the west side of the famous "Donner Pass" in the Sierra-Nevada Mountains (located about 40 miles west of Reno, Nevada).

The legs are blackened from years of diesel smoke....

The willow twigs in the "welcome" sign came from the banks of an irrigation canal

in Baker City, Oregon.
